Chattanooga Chinese School is a well-established and leading institution of learning with more than 30 years of history in Chattanooga.  Staffed with experienced and professionally trained Chinese language and arts instructors, in the 2017-2018 academic year, the Chattanooga Chinese School will continue to offer 7 different levels of Chinese language classes for both children and adults. In addition, the school will also offer Chinese folk dance class and Kong Fu classes for children and adult Tai Chi class.  These classes will be taught by professionally trained and reputable instructors.

*Register before August 1st to receive a $50 discount.  Discount will be applied at checkout.

Semester 1:

Classes will meet every Sunday from September 10-December 17.  Class will not meet on Sunday, November 26 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Semester 2:

Classes will meet every Sunday from January 21-May 20.  Class will not meet on Sunday, February 18(Chinese New Year) and will not meet on Sunday, April 1 (Easter holiday).

Current Criteria:
  • Recipient should be of Chinese origin (does not have to be TN resident as previously stated)
  • Recipient should have completed 15 hours of college credit and degree seeking & currently enrolled in any accredited college or university OR enrolled in dual enrollment in high school seeking college credit
  • Award to apply toward Chattanooga State tuition and Chattanooga State fees only
    $500.00/semester (less if tuition and fees are less than $500.00)
  • Recipient to have a minimum of 3.3 GPA and be of good standing in his/her school
  • Chattanooga State to choose the recipient
  • Chattanooga Chinese School to be informed of recipient receiving the award
